WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS
Eyelash extensions are thin, synthetic fibres that are individually glued to your natural lashes with a specially designed, semi-permanent bonding adhesive.
Extensions are available in a range of thicknesses, lengths, curls, and groupings.
Our professional lash artists have all had significant training in the safe and hygienic application of eyelash extensions and will personally design your extensions to obtain the style you prefer. When finished, your new set of eyelash extensions will not add any discernible weight to your natural lashes, allowing you to experience a fully natural look and feel.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE
During your initial consultation, your lash artist will go through the many lash extension options with you and recommend the best length, thickness, and style to complement your natural eye shape and facial features.During the treatment, your lash artist will apply as many eyelash extensions as feasible based on the quantity of natural lashes you have to work with and their ability to support the lash extension without damaging the natural lash.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED
You may get just the one appointment for a speical occasion, however if you love them refills appointments are typically 2-3 weeks.

Extra volume lashes will undoubtedly add dimension and drama to your natural lashes! Volume lashes are dark, thick, and fluffy, and are available in 5D – 8D. They are manufactured with pre-made groupings of several extensions known as ‘fans.’ The number specifies the amount of lash extensions in the fan – 5D denotes five extensions and 8D denotes eight extensions… each fan is individually grafted onto one of your eyelashes, generating dramatic length and volume.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST
When it comes to how long eyelash extensions stay, numerous factors come into play. In general, most eyelash extensions will last up to four weeks. However, how carefully you care for them, together with the natural development cycle of your lashes, will decide how frequently you will need to have them’refilled. Every 45-60 days, your natural lash comes out and is replaced by a new lash, however we don’t lose all of our lashes at once. Each one has its own cycle, so having a lash extension refill every three weeks will replace the extensions that have fallen out along with your natural lash – helping to keep your lashes looking uniformly, full and fluffy.

WHO CAN HAVE THIS TREATMENT
Eyelash extensions are effective on both short and long lashes and will give you beautiful lashes regardless of the type of lashes you have or the shape of your eyes.
If you wear contact lenses, you must remove them before receiving therapy.
If you have an eye infection or irritation, we will be unable to execute the treatment.
PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
If you wear contact lenses it is best to remove them prior to your treatment; once your treatment is completed your contact lenses can be immediately put back in.
Attend the appointment without mascara on. This is particularly important in regard to waterproof mascara.
Come to your appointment with clean, dry lashes.
Do not wash your hair right before the appointment as this affects retention.
Come to your appointment makeup free.
Go to the bathroom before your appointment and avoid caffeine.
POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
You must purchase a lash cleanser and be cleansing your lashes no less than every 2-3 days
Be gentle to your lashes – avoid excessively rubbing your eyes and try not to pull at your extensions.
Use the coating sealant recommended by your Therapist for longer-lasting results.
Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours.
Avoid steam from showers or saunas for the first 24 hours.
Do not put your face directly under the pressure of the shower stream.
Never wear waterproof mascara.
Only use oil-free, gentle eye make-up remover.
Do not apply oily/lanolin-based moisturiser to your eyelashes.
Do not perm or tint lashes while you have Eyelash Extensions.
Schedule a maintenance touch-up/refill every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking beautiful.
